Good morning,
Ladies and Gentlemen, I am sorry that I am writing to you only today, but I could not unpack the prize, just like that on a weekday, ie after work (although I was in terrible torments). For me, receiving such a wonderful thing is a celebration. Today I have the right time and mood, and I was able to "extract" the treasure in a calm way, though I admit it, with great emotions. I am not exaggerating, the tape recorder is really beautiful and it reached me safely, i.e. I could listen to your representative melodies on it, for which I am also grateful. Also, thank you for the commemorative inscription, it will always remind me of you.
Let me reflect a little, when I look at contemporary (various) objects, I have the impression that everything that is most beautiful has already been, but it is a very subjective view and I am probably wrong.
You are very nice, the tape recorder is waiting for now, I think it's good company, after all, it will feel bad with the twenty-year-old Marantz brand, still a "brat".
Unfortunately, a companion (of a similar age) is in the service, and the element that is needed to repair it travels all the way from Canada. As soon as everything is ready, I will send you the photos immediately.
For my part, I have already packed the exhibits for the Museum and will send it on Monday. At the time of their completion (set), I became the lucky winner of the award,
and therefore, in a modest sense, I decided to somehow compensate the loss suffered by the Museum. These are the three basic parts (amplifier, tape recorder, tuner), the so-called mid-tower by Unitra, which in a non-obvious way heralds the end of the knob era and the advent of Polish audio equipment for colors other than black and silver (gold was probably a rarity). I hope that the trip will not cause any damage, because I would be ashamed for the rest of my life that I donated items of value to the Museum (I bought them from collectors who assured me of their excellent condition, both technically and visually).
I hope that in the future we will be able to meet and remember the times,
in which you traveled hundreds of kilometers for the album, and then for the cover (fortunately communication was cheap), as told by the guest of "Audio Azyl".
